OPI I Snow You Love Me

Oh my!  It's late but better late than never, right?  I was having camera issues and laptop issues.  It's all sorted out now, but I was starting to think I wouldn't get a post up.  This is a combo that I wore the other day.  I knew it would be really pretty but I didn't think it would be this pretty.  Check it out!
OMG right?!  So I can't really say this is any amount of coats because it was placed.  ISYLM is full of holographic circle glitters and I'm in love with them.  I mean circle glitters of all kind are amazing but these are just...idk.  I have no words.  My only advice is to set the bottle upside down for a few minutes before application.  This way you can just brush them on without having to fish them out.  The base color I used is FEVERlacquer Come to Me.  It's just amazing on it's own.  lol

Have a great night!

FEVERlacquer Easter Dress

I feel like I haven't swatched a polish (no nail art) in a while and I can't believe I haven't done this one at all.  In all fairness, I have worn it multiple times but I never get photos.
Here I have FEVERlacquer Easter Dress and I love it.  It's such a fun color that's great on anyone (as far as I've seen) and the best part...it's a jelly!  I see it as the turquoise blue cousin of I Shall Call You Squishy from the same collection.  You can see my swatch post for that one HERE.
Easter Dress does have a bit less shimmer than "Squishy" but it's still there.  It's like a secret surprise when you get in the sun or enlarge the photo...go ahead.  Enlarge them!  lol Pretty right?  The polish maker, Casandra, was amazing enough to send me a lot of these beauties a while ago (which I swatched and posted immediately) and I have to say, FEVERlacquers are definitely some of my fave polishes, indie or mainstream.  I'm still trying to get into the indie scene so slowly but surely I'll try more, but so far these are great.
One last thing I noticed about FEVERlacquers is that they have a great shine to them after they dry so a top coat isn't needed.  Of course you may want to apply one to protect your mani, but like I said, you don't need it to create a great glossy finish.

Have a great night!

FEVERlacquer I Shall Call You Squishy and More

Oh man, I am sooooo happy it's Friday!  I've been waiting for this day since Wednesday.  This was a busy week for me so I'm glad I can finally relax.  Oh and btw today was payday which means I would normally go buy some polish, but I'm on a no-buy for the whole month of March.  I'm not happy about it, but I am at the same time.  It just means I get to show you all of my unswatched polishes like this little gem from FEVERlacquer!
I Shall Call You Squishy is on of my favorite polishes to date.  I'm not kidding!  I knew it was going to be amazing, but I didn't know I was going to completely fall in love with it.  I used 2 coats for full opacity.
In other photos I've seen I didn't notice the shimmer through the beautiful coral color, but this baby is jam-packed with shimmer and the formula was a dream.  This is a "crelly" polish which is why it's so squishy (hence the name) and it dries super glossy so there is no need for a top coat unless you just want to protect your nubs throughout the day.
The main reason I bought Squishy, for short, is because I wanted to wear it as my base color for I Blame the Fireworks, also from Fever Lacquer.  I've had this for quite sometime and I had yet to give it a go.
I Blame the Fireworks is a clear base with holo bar glitter.  If you aren't a fan of bar glitter, neither am I, but I do love this one because the bars are those tiny "hairy" ones that apply really well and don't take over the manicure.  They also don't curl or peel off like I've noticed with the larger bar glitter polish that I have.
Check out that holo-y, glittery goodness!  You would think by looking at the bottle that it would be very dense with glitter, but actually it applies the perfect amount on the nail.  I used only 1 coat.  (:
So then I couldn't resist adding more glitter so I added OPI Lights of Emerald City.  And that's about it.

I will swatch these glitters officially some other time, but I thought they were super pretty over Squishy.  You can purchase these beautiful Fever Lacquers from Wishful Bath & Beauty for only $8.00.

Fever Lacquer Spam

Hello my lovelies!

Today's post is gonna be amazing. I just got this AMAZING nail mail yesterday afternoon.  Then I had to swatch them all.  I tried to type this up last night, but I was so tired I kept falling asleep at the laptop. Now that I'm well rested, we'll just jump right in.  Are you ready?
First up is Spiced Chai.  This one was definitely a surprise in a bottle.  You think it's going to be a cocoa colored creme with holo hex glitter, but then you get it on and snap a photo.  It actually has quite a bit of blue shimmer in it which is awesome.  I just wish the holo hex glitters were as predominate on the nail as they are in the bottle.  This is 2 coats.
This is one of my favorites that was sent to me.  It's Oswin is a Dalek...huh?  I think it's a reference to Dr. Who, but I don't watch it so I'm not sure.  No matter, I love it.  The base is a light grey with a hint of lavender and sprinkled with shredded red glitter.  I tried to get more glitter on the nail, but I was getting sleepy.  I used 3 coats to get the base opaque.
I think the best way to describe Come to Me is just by saying it's very pretty.  Now that doesn't mean I think it's mediocre by any means.  It's definitely a color I don't reach for often, but I only have one other this shade and I love it so I think this will make a great addition to my collection.  The color and the shimmer just make it so dainty and is it just me, or is it textured?  I noticed it in the bottle shots and then after I got it on the nail.  I used 3 coats of this lovely lady.  I needed  3 coats for full opacity.
Now on the glitters!  This is White Collar Caffrey.  I'm in love with this color combo.  There are small black and white hex glitters mixed with bright blue mylar bar glitter.  I wish I had swatched this over a base color because even with these 2 coats and how dense it was, it's still a little sparse.  I will have to do that and then show you all again.
Holly Day is definitely a Christmas polish.  I'm so happy I acquired it pre-December.  Green micro glitter, small white glitter and big red hex glitter make up this festive glitter bomb.  This is just 1 coat over Zoya Ivanka.  I did have to dig out the red hex glitters and place them on the nail.
They Know!  What do they know?  lol  Well I know that this is my fave holiday polish this year.  I layered 1 coat of They Know over 2 coats of white polish.  They Know contains small black and green glitter with shreds of red glitter.  I love that it has the black glitter.  I LOVE black glitter.

Gilded Leaves...OMG!! This is a true glitter bomb filled with gold and orange micro, shredded, and short bar glitters. I used 3 coats because I wanted it pretty extreme, but you could probably use one over a base color. It's pretty dense.

I really hope you all add these to your wish list and try to get your hands on some Fever Lacquer.  Also, I would like to thank the lovely Casandra for sending these to me in a fun secret swap.  I'm so happy she was my secret buddy.  If you would like to purchase any Fever Lacquer lovelies, you can visit Casandra's StorEnvy HERE and you can visit her blog HERE.  (:

Have a good day!
