Just because the holidays are over doesn't mean that Winter is. Judging by everyone's Facebook posts, I think the cold weather is here to stay for awhile. I live in Texas so for me to see the thermometer hit 20 degrees is exciting. So instead of dreading it, let's celebrate it.
OMG look at these! This definitely goes on the list of my all-time favorite manis. It's so simple and easy but super pretty. I started with two coats of Color Club Hydrangea Kiss then added one coat of Nubar 2010. If you don't have 2010 you need it. It was the first flakie polish I ever owned and still my favorite by far. I actually need a new bottle because I'm almost out after two years. When that dried I applied one coat of Spoiled Jewelry Heist and topped it off with Sally Hansen Big Matte. I don't know about you but I just love glitters with a matte top coat. Oh who am I kidding? I love everything with a matte top coat. lol
So what do you think? Are you a big matte fan? And what's on your nails this cold Winter evening?

Rainbow Gradient?! Yes, Please!
Yes you read it right! I have a full on rainbow on my nails tonight. I have been wanting to do a vertical gradient for awhile but I didn't just want to do the same colors on each nail so I decided to use them all. I mean, why not?! Rainbows are fun!
Here it is! It's super bright and I love it. I think it's so fun and quirky...like me! I don't really think I need to explain how I did it seeing as how almost everyone knows how to create a gradient by now. I didn't do the sponge method though. I just did it using the polish brushes.
As you can see some of the colors didn't blend as well as I had hoped like neon green and teal blue on my middle finger, but whatever! You can't tell me that it looks bad. lol I did this entire mani over a white base if you were wondering how they all got so bright. I had too since three of them are jellies.
Are you ready for the list of polishes I used? It's long. There are ten of them. The reason for there being ten is that I used all these same polishes on my toes (which you will see below so if you don't like feet then don't read any further than the polish list) for an ombrè pedicure.
WHAT I USED:
Orly Oh Cabana Boy - pink
popBeauty Ablaze - neon orange
OPI Y'all Come Back Ya Hear? - orange
Spoiled Did I Dye It Too Blonde? - yellow
China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard - lighter neon green
China Glaze Kiwi Cool-ada - darker neon green
butterLONDON Slapper - teal
China Glaze Blue Sparrow - blue
China Glaze Creative Fantasy - darker purple
China Glaze Señorita Bonita - lighter purple
Next is my pedi pic...look away if you aren't a foot person (who really is a foot person though). I promise they aren't bad. (:

Thanks for checking in tonight. I had so much fun doing this mani and you better believe I'm going to stamp over this. lol

Pinterest Week Day 7/Sat-ART-day Mani
Today is a multi purpose post. I knew when I started Pinterest Week that I may have to skip The Crumpet's Sat-ART-day mani. I just couldn't have that happen so I tried to find something that I pinned that could work for The Crumpet's 60s Inspired theme as well, and I did!!
Day 7: The Sugar Cube
MY PIN HERE
ORIGINAL POST HERE
WOW! Talk about bright, ya know? Yeah so I thought for the Sat-ART-day theme (60s Inspired) I would do tie dye! This was my very first time doing a needle marble, but I think I nailed it. LOL...nailed it. I'm so lame. Anyway, when I think of the 60s, I think Woodstock, psychedelic colors, MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR. I should have been this age in the 60s.
I got the inspiration from Erin of The Sugar Cube blog. She used different colors than I did and she did her needle drags horizontally, but I thought doing them vertically on my nails worked better and it was a lot easier for a first-timer. I also thought the neon colors worked well with the 60s theme.
WHAT I USED:
Zoya Charisma - magenta
Sinful Pink - neon pink
Color Club Lava Lamp - orange
Spoiled Did I Dye It Too Blonde? - yellow
China Glaze Kiwi Cool-ada - green
I had a lot of fun with this needle marble so I will definitely be doing it again. Back to the Sat-ART-day part...Don't for get to check out everyone else's 60s manis below.
I hope you all enjoyed Pinterest Week. I had a blast recreating the manicures that I've had pinned for so long. This was a really great excuse for me to do them and also to get nail art practice. I will be sure to keep it up. Have a wonderful Saturday, and if you decide to recreate any of these manis let me know. I love seeing how other polish addicts interpret nail designs.

Pinterest Week Day 1
Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!
I'm sure you are all wondering what exactly Pinterest Week is. Well I saw it on Kayla Shevonne's blog sometime last year (I think) and I thought it was a great idea. The idea is to recreate manis that have been pinned on my Pinterest Beauty board. I had so many which made it tough to narrow down to only 7, but I think you will really enjoy the one's I chose.
Day 1: My Nail Polish Online
The original manicure was created using the new OPI Mariah Carey Spring 2013 collection. Then the blogger added some fun dots and glitter.Since I don't have the OPI Mariah Carey collection, I used the closest polishes I had.
WHAT I USED:
pinky/pointer - Finger Paints Amethyst Atelier w/ Spoiled Jewelry Heist glitter
ring/thumb - Orly Rock the World w/ Finger Paints Amethyst Atelier dots
middle - OPI Sweet Memories w/ Orly Rock the World dots
I topped it all off with a coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite and got some amazing photos. I also added the original photo from My Nail Polish Online so you can see how my mani compares.
Let me know what you think? Also if you have any requests of pins from my Beauty board, feel free to leave it in the comments below. I don't have the whole week planned out yet so you've definitely got a chance to choose something awesome for me.

My Halloween Challenge Day 4 - Happy Birthday to Me!
That's right! Today is my birthday and I am 27. I'm starting to really feel that old feeling everyday that I get out of bed. It's alright though because my own family, who I saw this weekend for the first time in about 10 or 15 years, thought I was 19. People tell me I look really young so awesome.
So I'm just gonna jump right into it and show you my very first sugar spun mani. I know I didn't get it right, but I still think it looks really cool because it reminds me of cake icing. lol doesn't it?!
WHAT I USED:
Zoya Zuza - 2 coats for base
Spoiled Did I Dye It Too Blonde? - neon yellow
popBeauty - neon pink
OPI - sheer grey
So like I said, even though it's not perfect, I really love it. Oh and I'll probably never do it again. lol It's just such a mess and my polish wasn't really getting that stringy effect as much as I thought it would. Maybe it's the one's I used. Meh, who knows?
