OPI Zom-body to Love

So just to start off, Halloween is my favorite holiday.  My birthday is one week before so that makes total sense right.  Seeing as how I love it so much, when all of the Halloween decor and costumes starts arriving in stores, I am all over it.  Especially when it comes to the cool nail polish sets that are introduced just like this little gem.  The duo is called "Pair 'em, Scare 'em" and it comes with a Black Shatter and a really cool glow in the dark green called Zom-body to Love.  Seriously I laugh everytime I say that.
Unfortunately my camera won't take a photo of it glowing in the dark but if you check out THIS post from My Simple Little Pleasures , you'll see what I'm talking about.

Have a happy, fun, and safe Halloween everyone.  I will be working so enjoy it for me.

Jesse's Girl All Things Girly and Stiletto

Sorry I have been gone for awhile.  Work has been really crazy getting ready for my new store opening on November 5.  However I did have time to swatch the last two polishes from the Jesse's Girl Julie G collection.

The first is Stiletto.  It is a taupe shimmer creme with an excellent formula.  I almost didn't need the second coat.
The last one is called All Things Girly.  It's a peachy salmon creme color.  I had a lot of compliments on it, but I'm not sure if I really liked it on myself.  The color is beautiful, but maybe not for me.
Sorry for the chips on my nails.  Like I said work has been crazy and I didn't anticipate them getting so torn up.

Enjoy your night bloggers!

Jesse's Girl Mermaid's Lagoon

Today I have Mermaid's Lagoon from the Julie G collection for Jesse's Girl.  This color is a teal creme with gold shimmer.
This is one of my faves from the entire collection mainly because I love the color but also that the gold doesn't take over the spotlight.  I would hate to have to black list a polish.

Jesse's Girl Fashion Friday and Party Dress

Just a quick post tonight ladies.  I've been running around a lot the past few days for work and am DEAD tired.  Fortunately I made enough time to change my polish and snap some photos of these gems from the Jesse's Girl Julie G collection.  I promise I'll get through them eventually.

The first is Fashion Friday.  I was really surprised that I was able to capture the true color with the first pic.  Usually with my patio lighting, my blues and purples don't come out well.
The next is Party Dress and I was only able to get one good shot of it.

Jesse's Girl Girl's Night Out

So here I am again with another beauty from the Jesse's Girl Julie G collection called Girl's Night Out.
This one is a gorgeous true blue creme that dries glossy just like Cupcake Frosting.  I'm not really a fan of blue, but I am really drawn to this color.  I can definitely appreciate it's beauty even if I don't wear it all the time.

Tell me what you think of Girl's Night Out.  Leave all your questions and comments below or email me at lacquerlover@hotmail.com.

Jesse's Girl Cupcake Frosting

Hello All!

Sorry I've been gone awhile, but I had a family reunion this past weekend.  I had a great time, and I received a huge surprise when I got there.

The second day we were there in Louisiana, we decided it would be fun to go to Natchitoches and take a walk on the river.  Before we even made it to the river, we happened to pass a Rite Aid.  We don't have Rite Aid in Houston so I was super excited to take a look inside.

As soon as I walked in the door, there it was.  The Jesse's Girl Julie G polish collection.  I was like a kid in a candy store and the colors certainly do look like candy.  I was able to purchase the entire collection with the exception of Beauty Guru.  They were out.  WAH!  So the first one I have to show you is Cupcake Frosting.
Cupcake Frosting is a gorgeous creme pink.  It dries very quickly and a little glossy, but I did add a Seche Vite top coat anyway.  Oh and sorry there is no sun photo.  There wasn't much for me to work with considering it stormed yesterday and was overcast today.  Maybe I can get one tomorrow before I take it off and it will be a little bonus.  We'll see.

Tomorrow I will show you another great color from the Julie G collection...Girl's Night Out.

So do you own any of the Jesse's Girl Julie G collection?  Do you watch Julie G on her YouTube channel?  What is your favorite color in the collection?  Leave your comments and questions below or feel free to email me at lacquerlover[at]hotmail[dot]com.

Sula Azure

Hey Blog Buddies!

So my NOTD is Azure by Sula.  I found this pretty little lady at Ulta and after passing it up at least 5 times, I finally decided to buy it.  The cool part is that it's a "paint and peel" polish.  It isn't meant to last for a week.  It was meant for people who love polish but hate the removal.  Otherwise called "too tired to try" like me. (:

The shade is a dusty teal that applies like a jelly and the reason for that is that it's water based.  That is what makes it so easy to peel off.  The downside is that it's very sensitive to hot water.  You have to be very cautious of what you do with your nails after you take a shower, do dishes, etc.

All the Sula polishes come with a Lasting Love top coat that you can reapply daily until you are ready to peel it all off.

I have to say, I have worn this polish 3 times already, and I love it.  The formula is really great and I love the finish.  And just as it's made to do, I love the fact that it just peels right off.  I don't even have to touch a bottle of remover or a cotton ball.  Now I can't wait to purchase more colors.

Do you own and Sula polishes?  What do you think of the "Paint and Peel" fad?
