Darling Diva Green Diamond

I don't really feel like saying much tonight but I know I can't keep this pretty polish all to myself so...
...here is Darling Diva Green Diamond.  It's a one coater (on me at least).  It's a green linear holo that dries matte which is really cool.  With a top coat it's pretty stunning.

That's about all.  Have a great night! (:

Darling Diva Polish Landslide

So tonight's swatch is of a polish that I can't believe I didn't purchase any sooner.  It's green.  It's holo.  It's inspired by one of my favorite singers.  It's...
...It's Darling Diva Landslide!  I only needed two coats of this one but used three just in case there were any bald spots or dragging.  Sometimes it's hard for me to tell with holos until I take a photo.  I mean, there isn't much to say about this.  It's gorgeous.  What more do you need to know?  lol The formula is great too by the way.  I know sometimes with indie polish, they formulas can be finicky but I've never had an issue with any of the Darling Divas.  With that said, you should buy some.  lol Right HERE!

I hope you all have a great night.  I'm trying to think of some fun nail art I can do and then find the time to do it.  I have been working out everyday after work so that only leaves about 20 minutes after class to get everything together before it's bedtime.  Let me know if you all think of anything.  I'm always open to suggestions.  Good night!

Red Dog Designs Tainted Love

Hey there!  I am just getting home from my kickboxing class so I'm sure you can imagine, I'm worn out and tired.  I already took a bath so don't worry...I'm blogging to you clean. lol  I am so excited to show you all the polish I have today.  I may be a little late on it because it's technically a Valentine's Day polish (or anti V-day) but it's such a fun polish that I will be wearing all of the time.
Red Dog Designs Tainted Love is not only my first Red Dog polish, but one of my new favorites as well.  I used Zoya Trixie as a fun base color and then layered two coats of Tainted Love over that.  It is such a fun glitter polish with green squares and hexagons and black hearts and skull shapes.  I think I love the skulls more than anything but also the fact that it's green...my favorite color...really puts it over the edge for me.  Just so awesome.  I can't wait to layer it over other colors and to buy more Red Dogs.  I bought all three from the V-day collection and am kicking myself for not getting more.  I'm sure the boyfriend would be kicking me out if I bought anymore polish.  lol

So what do you all think about this awesome polish?  Do you own any Red Dog polish?  If so, which ones are your favorite?  Let me know in the comments below and have a great night!

Superficially Colorful Thermal Polish

Today's swatches are one's I'm super excited about.  They are fun and girly and they make me feel 13 again which, in my opinion, is not always a bad thing.  I received a super sweet ROAK package all the way from Isreal from Jin of Superficially Colorful.
First up is Giggly.  This one is soooooo pretty.  This is one of those shades of purple that just kill me with how beautiful they are.  There are some bits of magenta pink shimmers in there as well.  Oh and it's a one-coater!  This is the color it is when your hands are cool.
This is Giggly after running my hands under warm water.  Unfortunately all of my warm photos are covered in water because my hands are always freezing unless I'm at work.  So these all had to be taken extremely fast before they cooled back down.  lol Just keep that in mind going forward.
This is Meditative.  What a perfect name.  This color is so calming and beautiful of course.  This is the cool shade with just two coats.
Here is Meditative's warm color.  Again, a very calming, sparkly olive green.  I just couldn't get to the camera fast enough which is why my pinky is already back to teal.
This is by far my favorite of the four.  I don't usually like or even wear orange but it's this awesome?! It's such a happy bright shade and I love the sparkle in it.
This is the reason I love Daring.  The warm color is this gorgeous bright yellow.  I mean even if you don't like yellow, you have to love this!  It's just so fun and when it starts to change from cool to warm, it's super fun.
Lastly we have Fascinated.  This is another one of those beautiful purple shades but it doesn't change to pink.  Oh no no.
Fascinated changes to this gorgeous cornflower blue.  This is such a fun warm color for the summer.  I can't wait to wear this one again.

Thank you, thank you Jin.  These are so amazing and I always get excited when I look down and they are different than when I looked before.  I can't wait for other people to get their hands on these.  ;)

Merry Christmas!

Today's post is a super short one.  I want you all to spend time with your families today instead of reading my blog and I'm pretty sick so I honestly don't even want to be on the computer.  lol  I just want to lay in bed with my coffee and sulk while my lovely boyfriend waits on me hand and foot.  That's what it's all about.  Just kidding.  But really I do want to get back in the bed and sulk.  ;)
I wanted to do nails that reminded me of Christmas trees and since I didn't put one up this year I thought I'd throw one of those in there as well.  For the green I used three coats of Zoya Ivanka for full opacity.  Then on my ring finger I used Zoya Tomoko with Ivanka as the tree.  The nail studs were used to resemble colored lights on the tree.  I LOVE colored lights during the holidays.  White lights are pretty too but not as festive in my opinion.  I received the studs from Born Pretty Store for review so keep an eye out for that either this weekend of the beginning of next week.

Have a happy and safe holiday!

Ornament Nail Art

Last year I seemed to get a pretty great reaction to my Christmas Day mani which was inspired by tree ornaments.  I decided I wanted to recreate them but this time with a few of my new Julie G Frosted Gumdrops.
I tried to use the same color scheme so I started with the same base color of OPI DS Original.  For the green I used Julie G Mistletoe, the purple is Julie G Sugar Plum Fairy, and the magenta is Julie G Ho Ho Ho.  Of course I used striping tape to get different widths between the colors and, well...that's it!

I hope you enjoyed this mani and I will be posting something on Christmas Day, but I will make it very brief because everyone should be spending time with their families and eating yummy desserts.  Let me know if there is any particular design you'd like to see in the comments below.

Sinful Holiday Rebel

I know right now there are a lot of holiday manis popping up on blogs and some of them are pretty tame, but others are elaborate.  They are definitely amazing for someone like me that works in retail, but for those that can't go all crazy on their nails for work purposes or you just don't want to take the time to attempt the nail art, there are always less extensive manis.  I have one for you today.
From indie makers to dollar stores, you can find holiday glitters almost anywhere this time of year.  One of my favorites is Sinful Holiday Rebel.  It's a clear base with red and green glitters and even some holo glitters, but just a few.  I didn't realize until one reflected the light just right.  I used two coats over Zoya Trixie for a fun non-traditional holiday mani.

So what do you think?  Is something you think everyone could pull off?  Let me know in the comments below. (:
