7 Days of Halloween - Day 1

This is something I've been excited about since before I left for vacation.  I wanted to do a series that showcased some fun nails that could resemble costumes as well as Halloween-inspired nails.  So to kick off the week long celebration, I just did something simple that anyone could wear.

This is Above the Curve Friday the 13th.  While it is not the 13th, it is Friday so it works right?  It is a gorgeous brown, scattered holo and OMG it's amazing.  The formula was so easy and smooth and I only needed two coats.  When you add a super glossy top coat it gets even better.

 As for the nail art, I just used a fan brush dipped in Essie Forever Yummy to do the effect on my nails.  I was able to bust out my Halloween nail decals that I've had forever, and I use every year, for my ring finger.  I think this is a really fun and easy mani that everyone can wear, especially those that don't want to go too overboard and crazy for Halloween nails.
